Take a look anywhere over the last week and you’ll see tons of information about how you can make 2021 your best year.
Most of this is trash advice that’s be reused, repurposed, and repackaged thousands of times over the decades. It’s copied, tweaked, plagiarized, and requoted to the point that people actually think these are original ideas. But it’s all the same – overused and overplayed.
It’s time to realize the power to improve – to change our lives for the better – is internal. It’s never, ever going to come from a “self-helper.” It can only come from you. If you’re living your life for the weekends and dread your Mondays – well, now is the time to DO something about it. But that “doing something” isn’t buying a productivity planner, or a book, or even subscribing to a blog like this. It’s to actually make the choice that every one of your days – and especially your Mondays – matters. You won’t get it back. And if you’re wasting those Mondays – perhaps even dreading them – it’s time to commit to yourself that you’re finally going to take ownership of your situation and be your own savior.
No one is going to do it for you. You’re not a prisoner. Or a victim. You’re not trapped or helpless. You are a badass warrior capable of great things.
It’s within you to choose that greatness. You just have to accept it, stand up, and take responsibility.
