I often hear things like, “my company won’t pay for…” this membership, or that conference, or that professional development thing that’s going to level you up.
Sometimes, this is just the way it is.
But if these things are important to you, here’s a radical thought – invest in YOURSELF. If the return on the investment of your time and money will be there and will level you up, pay for it yourself.
And if you think that’s crazy, or something you’d never do… then maybe it was never worth your company paying for it either.
